About Us

 Bold River Coffee started as a way for creators to pick and choose aspects of different types of coffee that they liked. Upon sharing this coffee with friends and family, it became clear that home roasting was much more than a hobby. We have made it our mission to bring these bold flavors from our home to yours.  

What started off as a hobby at the start of COVID 19 shutdowns, grew into so much more. Roasting coffee at home was a way to stay connected to our family and friends that we could not be with. It brought our little family so much joy to deliver or ship coffee to the doorsteps of our loved ones. At this time, my husband was breezing through business school with his master's degree and finding his career passion, post-military life. Meanwhile, I was a stay-at-home mom with two small children. As much as I loved that stage of my life, I knew that I wanted to have a career doing something that I loved too! I wanted to show my kids that they can be anything. My husband coached and mentored my journey in creating the Bold River Coffee business that you experience today. I'm learning every single day what it means to be a great woman-owned coffee roasting business. The love that I have for home-roasted coffee grows with every season that passes. With that, the desire to provide quality beans from small farms, with honest business practices, fantastic customer service, and bold flavors, grows into a true dream and passion.
